Parish Description: The Church of the Resurrection is a Roman Catholic parish of 1200 households in a Southeast suburb of Cleveland (Solon). The parish officially serves a territory that includes Solon, Moreland Hills, Orange and Warrensville Heights as well as parts of Bedford, Chagrin Falls, and Pepper Pike. Nearly 40% of the membership comes from beyond the parish boundaries. The parish was founded in the years following the Second Vatican Council and is strongly committed to full, conscious, and active participation in the liturgy as well as outreach to the poor and advocacy for justice in society and in the Church.
Responsibilities: The position includes selection of music, providing keyboard accompaniment and directing and rehearsing volunteer musicians, choir, and cantors for three weekend masses. Position also includes responsibility for a children’s choir, music for all other liturgical and catechetical events, and the production of a series of concerts in the Worship Space (currently three annually). The successful applicant will have a comfort with and appreciation for a variety of styles of liturgical music.
Qualifications: Candidates should have at least a bachelor of music degree or its equivalent and some experience with and knowledge of Catholic liturgical rites and music.

Assist music director with the Saint Martin de Porres (gospel) choir.
Participates in yearly performance reviews.Responsibilities:
